At Zellinger, every valve is the result of a carefully planned production cycle that combines technical expertise, quality control, and operational flexibility. From the initial assessment through to delivery of the finished product, we monitor every stage with rigor and attention to detail, ensuring full traceability, high performance, and rapid response times.
OUR WORK PROCESS
01.
PROJECT
From the design phase to the definition of the bill of materials, from 3D modeling to functional analysis, every task is handled with precision and attention to detail, in full compliance with relevant international standards (PED, ASME, API).
Our technical department develops every project using state-of-the-art CAD software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
02.
RAW MATERIAL SELECTION
The quality of our products stems from a careful selection of raw materials, all of which are made in Italy. We work exclusively with selected, reliable partners, chosen based on strict quality and compliance standards.
03.
MECHANICAL PROCESSING
Our facility in Cavaria con Premezzo is entirely dedicated to manufacturing. It is equipped with a large fleet of high-tech machinery, interconnected in accordance with Industry 4.0 and 5.0 principles, comprising 6 machining centers, 14 state-of-the-art CNC lathes, and 6 sawing machines. This in-house production capability allows us to guarantee maximum flexibility and fast turnaround times.
04.
ASSEMBLY
The assembly department is a strategic phase in the production cycle of our valves, from component preparation through to final assembly. Each workstation is organized to ensure traceability and order, with digitized operating instructions and calibrated tools.
05.
TESTING
We have three-head vertical test benches and single-head horizontal test benches for conducting pressure and leak tests in accordance with international standards. Upon request, we perform non-destructive testing on components and welds, and, when required, we coordinate inspections with qualified third-party organizations, ensuring maximum transparency and reliability at every stage of the process.
06.
SANDBLASTING AND PAINTING
We provide protective coatings tailored to the customer’s technical specifications and anticipated operating conditions. The coating process is carried out using certified products in controlled environments to ensure excellent adhesion, superior corrosion resistance, and long-lasting durability.
07.
INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION
Zellinger ensures that its quality policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels; the quality program is focused on continuous improvement and is subject to ongoing reviews and audits by internal staff, external inspectors, and the world’s leading engineering firms.
08.
WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTICS
Thanks to our 4,000-square-meter warehouse, which includes two automated storage and retrieval systems, we guarantee fast and reliable delivery times. The entire process, integrated into our management system and based on barcode technology, ensures maximum efficiency and real-time traceability.
ACTUATOR INTEGRATION
The assembly department also handles the integration and testing of pneumatic, electric, and gas actuators. In addition, we supply and install accessories such as limit switches, solenoid valves, filter regulators, and control panels, ensuring a complete, reliable, and ready-to-use product.
