A FAMILY STORY
Zellinger is an Italian family-run business with over 35 years of history, driven by a deep passion for its work. A focus on growth and unwavering dedication have always guided the company’s journey, enabling it to evolve into the solid and dynamic organisation it is today.
Currently, the first and second generations work together, ensuring continuity, experience and a vision for the future.
1989
After gaining solid experience in the industry, Massimo Possamai decided to purchase his first lathe for the production of needle valves.
Thanks to its fast production and delivery times, and to the founder’s initiative, Magival began to make a name for itself over the years and expanded its product range by introducing monoblock valves.
1996
The first manufacturing plant is purchased, marking the start of a new chapter and a new challenge. The number of employees and CNC machines used for valve production continues to grow.
2000
Ongoing investment in machinery and skilled personnel, combined with a commitment to establishing a strong presence in a constantly growing market, has led to the move to a new, larger production facility in Besnate.
2005
The company’s true DNA is becoming increasingly clear: production is expanding further with the introduction of flanged valves. New projects, new machinery, and the expertise of our people continue to drive this steady growth.
2010
The focus is on improving the quality management system. This has led the company to obtain various certifications, the most important of which is API 6D.
2012
The second generation is joining the company, bringing fresh enthusiasm and a spirit of innovation.
2018
A new facility is acquired in Casorate Sempione, where the offices, warehouse, and assembly and testing departments are relocated. Operating across two facilities makes it necessary to invest in state-of-the-art management software that connects the two sites.
2023
To enter a new market segment, a new type of service is being introduced: valves for cryogenic applications.
2024
Magival Valves has decided to change its corporate name to Zellinger. The rebranding was intended to reflect the company’s ongoing evolution and growth, highlighting its international scope without losing sight of its roots. The ownership and staff remain unchanged.
2025
The relocation of the production facility to the new plant in Cavaria con Premezzo has made it possible to expand the machine fleet and production capacity.
