Single and Double Block and Bleed
MG1500, MG2000
The floating ball valve with Single or Double Block & Bleed functionality is designed to ensure safe and reliable isolation in critical industrial applications where it is necessary to block the flow upstream and downstream and release residual pressure through a vent or drain line.
The monoblock version, with the body and end caps bolted together, is ideal for installations with threaded or welded ends, offering a compact and robust structure suitable for confined spaces and systems with weight constraints.
The bolted version, used for configurations with flanged ends, ensures greater ease of maintenance and superior mechanical strength, making it particularly suitable for high pressures and heavy-duty applications. The floating ball, pushed against the seat by pressure, ensures an effective seal.
In the Double Block & Bleed configuration, there are two balls, and each seat acts independently to isolate the fluid on both sides, allowing for venting or draining of the intermediate cavity. In the Single Block & Bleed configuration, however, isolation occurs on only one side, with the ability to release residual pressure.
